Sayonara State College

さよならステートカレジ!

I'm at my grandparents staying over for the night...because when I wake up before sunrise tomorrow, I'm leaving for Japan...

O_O

I having a problem telling whether I'm nervous or excited...guess I'll know tomorrow huh? I think its both.

I've had a last fun week and am happy to say I didn't waste any of the last of my time here. I saw a bunch of my friends throughout the week and hiked Mt. Nittany on Friday with some of them. The view was amazing and so totally worth it! :D If you've never hiked Mt. Nittany, I highly reccommend it. Its really not that far from Penn State.

I've tied up all my loose ends, which includes my THON video...which essentially has been running rampant aka viral around my school all of today. I posted the video and left on my merry way for Mommom and Poppop's today and when I came home from dinner with them, my video on youtube had 370+ hits, my facebook had imploded with comments, notifications and friend requests and THON and the new THON overall tweeted about me and my video...so here's the video.

In other also happy news, I believe that my CoE (Certificate of Eligibility...very important to getting your VISA for Japan) has just redefined the meaning of "At the 11th hour". One hour before I left, my CoE got dropped off at my house! Never in my opinion has a piece of paper looked so pretty! So happy right now! This takes a lot of stress off the fact that I still do not have a VISA. This will definitely expedite the process of getting a VISA once I'm there, or so I've been assured by the Japanese Immigration Bureau.

Well, its almost midnight...and seeing as I'm waking up at 4:30 to leave for New York, I'm off to get some shut eye...here's to my last post state-side!
